Refund Policy


Our returns policy lasts 20 days. If 20 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

 If your product is received out of the box faulty or damaged, you can send it back to us for a refund or item exchange within 20 days of receiving it. Please note, there is no reimbursement for return shipping. 

Please contact us to be given your Return Merchandise Authorization Number. Please write this on the posting label. 

Please email contact us on the contact page with your refund claim with all the details.

Please Note: Due to Covid19 we are putting a temporary hold accepting returns. If the product is faulty or damaged we will need to see video based evidence. Therefore customers are requested to send a video showing the product is faulty or damaged.We will then review and take the required action. 

Notable Clauses:
* To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition, you received it. It must also be in the Original Packaging. Items must NOT be worn. 
* To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
* To be eligible, the item must be faulty or damaged when received. We do not accept refunds if you change your mind.
* Sale items are not eligible for refunds. If an item is discounted, it cannot be refunded.
*Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

*You cannot change shipping address after 24 hours of purchase and will not be  eligible for a cancellation of order or a refund 

* If an order is received where the delivery address is not the same as the billing address , the order will be flagged as a possible fraudulent transaction by our order system and as such we will need to take additional measures before the order is processed for shipment. If any order is flagged , then we will request additional information from the buyer such as proof of ID & addresses. If the proof is provided within 72 hours we will proceed with the order. If in , such cases, the requested proof or any related communication is not received within 72 hours,  then the order will be cancelled and a refund issued with a deduction of up to 40% of the order value for our cancellation administration costs. If the order is highlighted by order Fraud Team then we will cancel the order immediately and a refund issued with a deduction of up to 40% of the order value for our cancellation administration costs.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

 Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items
  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, Software, Video games or any digital card that has been opened. 
  • Any item that has been used or not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 20 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected to meet our policy, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Once approved, your refund will then be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within the required number of days to complete processing. Please be aware most of the processing will be handled by YOUR payment provider and is NOT controlled by us.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially processed.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is completed.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@giftboxlondon.co.uk or via the Contact Us giving us the purchasing details.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@giftboxlondon.co.uk or via Contact Us with purchasing details.

 Shipping

To return your product, Please contact our customer service department support@giftboxlondon.co.uk quoting your purchase order number and they will provide your with relevant instructions. 

 You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

 Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

 If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

 If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
